INDEPENDENCE, IOWA – Real Racing Wheels will be an Official Sponsor of the United States Modified Touring Series once
again in 2009.
The Independence, Iowa-based manufacturer will be the sponsor of the “B”Mains at all events, including both the USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour and USMTS Southern Series.
“Jerry (Boubin) has long been a supporter of grassroots racing in the Midwest,” said USMTS president Todd Staley. “We are privileged to be able continue our partnership with Real Racing Wheels.”
As part of their commitment to USMTS competitors, Real Racing Wheels will contribute to the season-ending points fund for the USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour and USMTS Southern Series, and will award $25 a certificate to the sixth-place finisher in each and every USMTS “B” Main throughout the 2009 campaign.
For the USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour, certificates worth $150, $100 and $50 will go to the third, sixth and ninth place finishers, respectively, in each of the four regions. The same awards await the fifth, ninth and thirteenth place finishers, in the final points at the end of the Hunt for the USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Championship.
USMTS Southern Series drivers finishing fourth, seventh and tenth in their final points standings get certificates worth $150, $100 and $50, respectively.
