Corinth, Mississippi – Anthony Burroughs and BHL Motorsports are the latest will invade Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama this Friday-Sunday, February 20th-22nd for the 12th Annual Bama Bash.

This weekend’s 12th Annual Bama Bash will mark the 2009 season opener for the north-central, Alabama facility, which has seen a lot of improvements in the off-season. The weekend for BHL Motorsports will get underway on Friday with an open practice session, in which the team hopes to test some new setups. On Saturday, February 21st, time trials and heat races will be held
for the Super Late Model division, and on Sunday, February 22nd, b-mains and the 75 lap main event will be held. The event pays $7,500 to win and $500 to start and is expected to draw many of the South’s top drivers. For more information, please visit www.greenvalleyspeedway.com/.

Last weekend BHL Motorsports traveled to Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Tennessee for the 7th Annual Winterfest 40. The team competed in an Open Practice session on Friday night, and on Saturday they entered the $3,000 to win event. With 42 Super Late Models on hand, the field was divided into four groups. Anthony would qualify 5th in his group, which earned him a 3rd
starting position for his heat race. At the drop of the green flag, Anthony would fall back to the fourth position, and that is where he would cross the finish line. As a result, he started on the front row for his last chance qualifier, and he would run second for the majority of the event, but as the race wore on the handling on his #121 entry began to fade. On a late race
restart, David Jackson would pass Burroughs for the final transfer spot. Anthony went on to finish third, but with only the top two cars transferring to the feature event his night came to an end.
