Gary Christian Has Strong Memorial Day Weekend

Broken Bow, OK – Coming off a busy, yet successful Memorial Day weekend stretch, Gary Scott Christian will be in action this weekend in Louisiana in a pair of events in his #58x Pannell Chipping/LCM Cedar Fiber/GRT Super Late Model.

Gary opened the busy Memorial Day Weekend on Friday night at Paris Motor Speedway in Paris, Texas. With 29 Super Late Models on hand, he would start and finish in the 6th position in his heat race. He would start 6th in the last chance qualifier, but would easily race his way to take the win, which gave him the 17th starting spot for the feature. He would have a good run in
the feature, and by the time that the checkered flag fell on the 40 lap event, he was credited with an 8th place finish.

Gary was in action on Saturday night at Champion Park Speedway in Minden, Louisiana with the O’Reilly SUPR Late Model Series news. He started 2nd in his heat race and finished in the 3rd position, earning him the 12th starting position for the 50 lap main event. Christian would battle his way to a 9th place finish in the feature.

Christian Motorsports wrapped up their busy Memorial Day weekend on Sunday night at Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas. Gary won his heat race after rolling off the grid in the second position. His heat race win earned him the 4th starting position in the main event. Christian would battle in the top ten throughout the event before recording a 10th place finish. Gary is
now 3rd in the latest O’Reilly SUPR Late Model point’s standings and is also leading the O’Reilly SUPR Rookie of the Year points.

This weekend Gary will enter a pair of events in the state of Louisiana. On Friday, May 29th he will be racing at Monroe Motor Speedway in Monroe, Louisiana as he makes his debut on pavement. He practiced for the event in early May before it was rained out and rescheduled for this Friday. The event is being sanctioned by the O’Reilly SUPR Late Model Series and will
boast a $2,500 top prize.

On Saturday, May 30th, the Christian Motorsports will slide down the road to Fast Trax Speedway in Chatham, Louisiana for an unsanctioned, $2,500 to win event, which will be held as part of the Doug Murphrey Memorial. For more information, please visit .
