In the Factory Stock division, Buz Kaster pulled off some late race heroics and won the race in the last 100 feet. Kasters margin of victory was that of a single front fender.
The fans were on there feet as Kaster made his run to the flag stand. It was one of those truly, great moments in racing. The fans wouldn’t stay in there seats long.
Nic Bidinger has been the hot driver in the Grand National class so far this season. Coming into last Friday’s race, he has won 4 of 5 races, including 3 in a row. Put it down now as 5 of 6 races on the season and 4 in a row. The pressure will mount!
In the Modified feature, it was another different winner last week. As a matter of fact, it was the 6th different winner on the year. Allan Lawrence defied the odds and won. It was another one of those great moments in racing. Kid works hard, keeps nose clean and gets the win.
Knowing Lawrence and his family this was an important win for him and one that he deserved. What’s next?
