Despite the temperature of -20 F, the race in Thief River Falls, MN for the KC PRO West Race Organization had a good turnout. There were 110 entrants racing the Kitty Cat Ice Oval and 120 Snocross tracks.
The Snocross track was very challenging for our young riders. The 2nd corner coming off a small straight away was a very tight/hairpin turn which was the scene of many crashes and near crashes throughout the day. Thankfully there were no major injuries!
One of our Formulas racers had a hair raising crash in turn number 2 and went off into the bales. After a few minutes of checking him over, he was fine and was able to continuing racing and even took 1st place in the Final Round.
With the help from Speednet Direct and the updates to the program and catering to our club, our race days are running smoother these days. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Jerry and Jennifer for everything they have done to help our organization. They have put in many hours to make adjustments for us to accommodate our race organization. Thank you for everything you have done.
